And The Winner Is...

And the Russo family wizard is.....Justin...no Alex...Alex and Justin! Wizards of Waverly Place has sadly come to an end but not before the wizard competition was over. The last episode of WOWP entitled Who will be the family wizard aired January 6 2012. Here's what happened in that episode. Alex does a selfless act (make the family dinner) and that enables the Russo's to begin the family wizard competition, but Harper gets left behind. The Russo's discover the competition is a game show hosted by Chansler Rootie Tootie and at the end of round one Justin has 300 points Max 250 and Alex 0.Meanwhile Harper and Zeke are in the wizards layer watching the competition. Harper leaves the room to make popcorn and Zeke sniffs a potion titled purple murple potion, and then turns purple, starts to itch, and gets very hot. Back at the Wizard competition Alex Justin and Max are making a freshen your breath potion (well Alex and Justin are Max is doing his laundry.) Alex gets a Griffin and then Zeke walks in with Harper the Griffin goes nuts and flies away with Harper and Zeke. Alex wants to rescue them they have 45 minutes if there not back they would be disqualified and they were. They lost their wizard powers. Justin and Max seem to hate Alex but it gets worse and Jerry closes the shop then Justin Alex and Max ope it back up and make up in the end the whole family is talking then go back to the wizard competition finding out it was just a test. In the next round Alex ties the score with Justin. Then they have the last round and since the scores are so close whoever emerged from the tunnel of fog would win. They must cross a bridge with lava underneath them, enter a labyrinth, and then enter the tunnel of fog. In the end you hear Chansler Rootie Tootie say "I see someone coming" then you see.......its Justin! Justin won the family wizard competition!!! Next you see Professor Crumbs about to make Justin the family wizard, but Justin stops him revealing that Alex was ahead of him but then he got caught in a bush Alex was about to cross the finish line but she came back for him. Then Alex is made the family wizard and then Professor Crumbs talks to Justin about how he is going to retire and make Justin Professor of Wiz Tech.So Justins a wizad too. Since Alex and Justin are wizards Jerry and Thressa decide to give Max the Sub Station. It ends with everyone huging.

Selena Gomez sparkles in the lights on stage at the 107.9 The End’s 2011 Jingle Ball held at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, Calif., on Thursday night (December 1).
The 19-year-old actress/singer took the stage in ruby red heels and a mini-Santa like outfit. So cute!
Selena shared on the stage, “One of my inspirations is Katy Perry. She’s been really wonderful and really good as a person to me. She’s given me two songs of hers so, in honor of Katy, we wanted to do this song for her.”ena's rendition of the one that got away below.

Jennifer Stone and David Copperfield

 Jennifer Stone watches as guest star David Copperfield perform a magic trick in this new still from Wizards of Waverly Place. In the episode, “Harperella,” after Harper begins to read one of Alex’s wizard storybooks, she is transported into a Cinderella-like world where she encounters her evil stepmother Theresa (Maria Canals-Barrera) and stepbrothers Justin and Max. In order to turn back into Harper, she must rely on the help of Alex, her fairy godmother.
Jennifer chatted exclusively with JJJ and told us that even though she got to play a Cinderella-like character in the episode, her personal favorite fairytale character is Belle from Beauty and the Beast!
“Beauty and the Beast was my end all as a kid,” Jennifer said, “I liked that she was a strong woman. She was a book nerd. She wasn’t just the swooning princess. She didn’t have to be taken care of.”
